Kramer
Kramer has found his furrever home and has made two tiny best friends too!
Boomerang
We are so excited to announce that Boomerang now has a safe space to call home! This guy was the shyest in the shelter and always kept to himself. We knew it would take a special home to make him feel safe and he has now found it! He now enjoys watching bird tv with his new kitty brother and has been bravely exploring his new home.
Romeo
Our handsome Romeo has a new home too! This guy has a new kitty friend and is enjoying stretching his legs!
Apple
Apple has found her Furrever home the day after Valentines Day, with the Solomko's. Her name has been changed to Shadow because she always has to stick close to her people. She also loves helping with office work!
Spicy
Named because she was semi feral when found living in a the dump, she was too beautiful to not try and tame. Thanks to a wonderful lady with amazing patience, Spicy eventually learned to trust humans and was lucky enough to find a quiet home with a couple of other kitties to bond with.
Sophia
Sophia is never far from her new favorite human!
Jack
Jack is doing great in his new home. He and Tripp are becoming very good buddies. He loves playing with laces and strings!
Cheeto
Cheeto and Chase were abandoned by their previous owner and left out in the cold. Thankfully, they were taken in by the kind hearted neighbour next door and taken to KC. When the neighbour saw how full we were, she offered to foster them. Thank goodness for foster fails!
Chase

Breeze
Breeze is on cloud 9 now that she's found her forever home!
Stella
Stella (formerly Pepper) has made herself at home! She loves taking up your personal space, having naps with her new family; including Newman, another KC Rescue kitty! They all agree she is a great addition to their family!
Yoshi and Rocket
Cayenne’s new name is Yoshi- He has come a long way from the dump where he was rescued, and is ever so grateful.
Rocket is having a trial run here too, and fingers crossed as long as they get along, they will be roommates! They look pretty comfortable right now.

Jersey
Jersey has found her furever home and she is loving the attention. She is getting more comfortable with the dogs in the household and she has settled in nicely ❤️
Tinsel
Tinsel is never far from her people. This pretty girl loves snuggles and is quite the talker. Her favorite toys are ponytail elastics. So, for her own safety, we have to lock them up or she will steal them!
Whiskey
Adopter Stephanie says that Whiskey is wonderfully quirky for our family! He and the dog lay nose to nose and rub up against each other. His favorite place to sleep is curled around my head at night. He was such an awesome pick for us!
Jackson and Garfield
These two are quite the sweet loving characters and we are so happy they found a new home together! The new owners state that they are happy and settled in their new home. They aren't completely sure about the dog but are getting more comfortable with him.
Beans
Beans enjoying his new home, he loves to cuddle with his new humans, is very talkative and enjoys watching the birds out the windows 😊
Dorothy
Dorothy has found her furever home with former KC cat, Simba. They like to rub noses and cuddle together. Simba has taken Dorothy under his care (she is a special needs cat) and likes to groom her. Dorothy enjoys sitting at her owner's feet when the footrest of her chair is up. She is a content kitty!
Bourbon
Double Feature, Double cats! Two is better than one!
Bourbon has a new name "Whiskey" and a new forever home.💛
His new mom says: Whiskey has adjusted beautifully at our home. Kacey (who also came from KC) has finally accepted Whiskey as his friend.
They venture outside together putting on many miles around the yard searching for that noisy squirrel!!🐿
Often the boys can be seen chasing each other and having a friendly wrestle on the lawn.
Whiskey has found a comfy spot on the couch to have his naps and at night a cosey spot on our bed. He purrs constantly and loves his tummy rubbed.
He has a fav toy he drags around. Whiskey follows our grandson around and sets himself down among the toys to paw and play. He also likes to catch a free ride! 🤣
Whiskey is a beautiful friendly boy who has captured our hearts and is forever ours!

Another Happy Tails Story! Another Double KC Duo!
Mini, formerly Elaine of the Seinfeld kittens, has found her furever home. She is roommates with Hyde, who was also a KC Rescue cat. Mini follows Hyde around and likes to copy him. Monkey see, monkey do!
She loves to lick fingers, mooch for human food and sleep. Mini is truly a scaredy cat as she runs anytime someone is at the door.

Leo, formerly known as Dash, made his way to his forever home in Martensville at the beginning of September.
It took a few days for his new cat friend Lola to realize he was here to stay but now they enjoy chasing each other around the house and playing together.
He still likes to hang out in the sink and is curious about everything. He is such a cuddle bug and is a great addition to our family.

Hazel was so sweet she was scooped up before we could even post a KC profile for her!
Her adoptive family states:
We had 2 black cats - Mickey and Minnie we adopted from KC Rescue almost 7 years ago. Sadly we had to put Minnie down in August and we have been looking for a new sister for Mickey. Hazel and Mickey are doing great!
Mickey doesn’t mind if Hazel sleeps on his pillow and Hazel is just the sweetest cat, she loves to play and loves to cuddle. The Moscrip family.

Lizzie formerly known as Jeri has adjusted to home life like a Queen. And when I say a Queen I mean a drama Queen but who can blame her. She just wants all the attention she can get. And loves having some cuddle time, on her terms of course. She loves playing with one piece of rope/string and running through her tunnel. She also loves sitting on the kitchen table to look outside. She made herself at home ❤️
