Jujube
This girl has spent most of her life here in the shelter and is back under our care at KC.
She is 1.5yrs old.
"Juby" loves to play in water, with toys (carries them in her mouth) and she even likes the company of dogs!
She likes to play games with them when she is out on the catio and does not seem scared of them at all.
Such a sweet, affectionate, unique cat that would do best with a no other cat household.
Let's get her into her furever home asap!

Marlee
2 year old spayed female
Well, this girl's body tells us a few stories of what she has been through in her two years.
But the full chapters and whole book remain a mystery.
The true story of how the tips of her ears frozen off.
The story of how she ended up missing a length of her tail.
Motherhood has also shaped her body. How many litters, who knows.
She is a little bit thin. Did she ever have treats before the shelter? Soft food? A Bed?
We had to be gentle with her and do a photoshoot a little bit differently than most.
Emotional scars are visible in time spent with her.
She sooooo desperately wants your love, but is scared.
Scared you are trying to hold her tight so she can't escape.
Scared you will hurt her.
Her response is an over stimulated and fear based light nibble to tell you "no, that is making me scared".
That is not her fault.
That is the response of an animal who has had years of neglect.
No consistent human touch, love or affection. Nor the ability to fully trust.
She needs routine, tenderness, gentleness, affection but, most importantly, love, time and patience to adapt.
To learn to trust humans.
To learn she can depend on humans.
That she can love humans, and they love her right back.
She needs to learn that she found her furever home where she doesn't need to worry.
About feeding herself, her kittens and just surviving.
To learn to be an indoor cat.
She may have never slept in a bed.
Or truly ever felt love.
Help her finish writing her a happily ever after fairy tail ending.....
If you are interested in adoption and would like a private shelter feline meet & greet session, please give us a call at (306)228-2132 to set up a time that is convenient for you! (We prefer 24-48 hours notice if possible and our phone does not receive texts).
Adoption applications can be filled out ahead of time, even if you aren't sure which feline you are wanting to adopt.

Misty & Felix - Mother & Son?
Misty & Felix have both grown a strong bond with each other & are amazing together! They play, cuddle together quite often & room each other. If your in the search for two cats that are filled with excitement & cat naps, these two would do great together! We have a guess that Felix might be Misty's kitten.
Misty is a beautiful & very smart young lady! Her birthday is estimated to be in September 2024.
Misty was quite shy at the beginning, but all she wants is love and food! This girl is so food motivated she forgets everything around her. She loves to play with all the cats, she plays with toys & has a silly quirky attitude. She might not be a lap cat quite yet, but she comes to us all the time. We are followed all over the house by this silly lady, she's so curious.
She is still a bit shy, but in time she will come around with love. Misty is fantastic with all my cats, our household is loud with 3 kids so she is used to the chaos, although a quiet household will be just fine.
Felix is a handsome young little man, who is silly, quirky, shy, crazy - All of the positives of a kitten! His estimated birthday is August 2025. Felix came to us in December, he was found in a field. The poor thing was out there alone, frozen & crying. His little beans had a bit of frost bite but they are perfectly fine now! Felix is a fun little kitty, he loves to run & play. He is fantastic with other cats as well. His routine is sleep, eat, & play. Felix would do great in a chaotic household like ours, or something quieter as long as he has entertainment!
